Meet the OT

Alanna Steinbecker, MOT, OTR/L, CAPS, CEAC

My journey in home modification began with graduation from Maryville University of Saint Louis with a Master of Occupational Therapy degree and a certificate in gerontology. I have received a digital badge from the American Occupational Therapy Association in home modification, in addition to becoming a Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC). I am also a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), awarded by the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). Following graduation, I gained valuable experience through employment in various skilled nursing facilities (SNF), where I developed a passion for rehabilitating my patients so they could return home following a SNF stay. Due to a noticeable gap in services, I created Thrive for Life Consulting to serve individuals of all ages and abilities and allow them to remain in their homes throughout the lifespan. Please reach out to me with any questions you may have – I look forward to serving you!
